a lot of things happened already...
i thank my family and friends for having the heart to understand me
my vacation became meaningful because of them

hhhmmm...of course nobody knows what the future will bring
i feel this will be one heck of a rollercoaster ride
i already had the glimpse of it

i think it can't be helped
it's the way it is
i just have to be ready
it may be the best or the worst -

hoping against hope
that the wind will not blew him away

I didn't think I can survive another heartbreak but I did
maybe if you reached the end of the line and had given all you've got
then your heart turns numb of all the pain it can bring 

I tend to forget - my way of moving on
never my style to wallow
such a waste of time 

nevertheless, we had our good mem'ries
better leave it at that

I asked a friend, "how many times should my heart be broken
before I find the one for me?"
she answered, " don't worry, if there is really one for you,
he'll find you."

 yesterday i found out how bad my memory was...
or did i just choose to forget 

it all came back to me
my biggest regret of my short life
loosing a very dear friend

funny, i thought i had always been nice
now i know i can be a total bitch
or was i also a victim?

i'm really not sure

keeping friends -  one thing i'm not good at
now i'm amazed at myself

maybe i did change -
earned people's trust
worthy to be considered a friend

now i know better --

 wow!  what a year! let me recall the what happened to me last year:

1. Last April I finally transferred to a better company.
2. Transferred to Sharjah from Dubai.
3. Amor went back home for good.
4. I became another year older.
5. Spent my third Christmas and New Year far from home.  This was really frustrating.
6. Became a member of Filipino Christian Community of Dubai.  I am now able to feed my spiritual hunger of Him.

what else? so far, so good.  God had been very kind to me last year.  He had always been very merciful and I can't thank Him enough for His greatness.

of course I still have struggles but they are more controllable now.  

Last week, during the bad weather, I was able to spend time with Joseph's mom.  She barely speaks English but we were able to understand each other.  Such a wonderful woman.  Sadly, she had the same fate of my mother with regards to her husband.  How I loathe mistresses.  The worst part of it is that they are all Filipinas.  Auntie said she hates all Filipinas except me.  I can understand where she's coming from.  Nowadays, Filipinas here truly lost their sense of value just for money. Of course not all, I hope.

Suprisingly enough, I was even able to meet one of her husband's girlfriend over dinner with Joseph last year.  It was an unexpected thing and my God was she a lunatic. 

Julie, Joseph's sister asked me why do I think Filipinas do this.  She did not want to degrade any nationality because there are also Lebanese wh-res around but our women are --- i don't how else to describe them.  "Can poverty be the only reason or also because a lot of Filipino men are baklas"  These are the very words of a foreigner.

How sad.  This is already a social issue.  Filipinas here do not only excel in their work but some also excel in another area.  So you cannot blame foreigners here when they stop their car while you are walking on a street and offer you money or their mobile number.  Just continue on walking as if you did not see or hear a thing.

Can't beat them, Ignore them.

Anyweis,  so much for ranting.   

Let's be hopeful for yet another great year ahead.  Let's just do our best and Almighty Father will do the rest for us.

Filipino eerrrrr Korean by heart

Yesterday I called my mom and without the usual "hello, kamusta k na?" --
she started with " Anne, uwe ka na...Miss n miss n kita eh..."

My mom is not at all showy when it comes to this..
that's why I knew it took her a lot of effort to say it

I remember when I left she told me she will just 
pretend I live in Antipolo and cannot go home for a long time --

Crap -- mothers really do know best
how did she know I also don't like here anymore?

I can't leave the company for another two years
by then I will decide if its time for me to go home - for good.

Money or Family/Friends - you choose.

Or better yet transfer to a country near home
Korea? -- wishful thinking...

how in the world can I get work there...
gosh I love Gong Yoo -- ggggrrrrr

last friday was a blast!

ate lunch in a lebanese restaurant
went to the beach to see friends
watched  Die Hard 4 which is totally cool
collapsed twice in Joseph's house!

it was one of the most horrifying experience of my life
energy draining from your whole body
being out for less than a minute then gaining consciousness w/o recognizing where u r & who ur with - twice!
whew! it wasn't cool at all

joseph's reaction was indescribable
he felt he lost me - totally


everybody thought i'm pregnant which i'm still not  =(
it should have been better if i am - 
at least i know why i collapsed


doctor said i should stop watching bruce willis -- hallerr??
hhhmmmm....
maybe it's because of my present love - DBSK

i almost gave up but he's still telling me to hang on...
things will get better...in time

since my sister went home
and people in my new place started misjudging me
i lost that courage within me...

all i want is to run to my mom and cry
God i miss her so much...

there are things in life that we are not in control of...
we don't have any other choice but to wait....and let God move His hand for us
eventhough we might not understand the situation,
have faith that everything is happening according to His will
He has His reasons...He always has....

don't ever think that it is enough that you plan ahead for your life
have a Plan A and a Plan B but always keep in mind there will always be Plan G - Plan of God
and more often than not, it is the one that happens...

as for me, from now on i'll just let go
if it's for me, it will be given to me
so much for always thinking...for always worrying about tomorrow

i'll just try to enjoy today

After a year of facing customers of all nationalities, God has been very kind to me to bring me back to office work..I thought I would do this forever unless I resigned from the company..I am really happy about it though my salary hasn't changed yet. At least they have decreased my workload. Funny thing is I missed the computer a lot..I really got tired of my job..Whew!

Talk about being so behind...I have a thousand of unread messages...I hope I can still catch up with you guys...I read you will have your vacation...I bet it will be a superb one again...Miss you all so much!!!!  Hey, can you book a 3D/2N trip to Dubai? I will gladly absent myself from work if you will do!!!  In my dreams...right! I know!

How am I? I not exactly having the greatest time of my life here except that Joseph is still the most wonderful man I know..He proposed out of the blue..hehehe and we're planning to get married as soon as we get our requirements.  Funny, I don't like it to be grand..I just like us to exchange our vows and that's it.  The simplest possible way to get married...

I hope it's also that simple to be happy...

last night i heard jose marie chan's christmas song over the radio...teary-eyed, i stared at the window instead...this is one season n parang ayokong dumating this year...not to mention its already october...parang ndi ako ntutuwang october na.....

688 unread e-mail...not good...but i manage to read meds "till we meet again" and sis, you are sooo right with all that you've said...every word of it...

ang dami ko ng namiss n lakad at mas marami p kong mamimiss n lakad...not good
this is the pain of reaching for your dreams...

our company will open a branch in Qatar and they want me to be one of the pioneers there. Goodness! i never stayed for long in one place since i left Sykes! my mom was worried about some details of the possible transfer pro ndi ko kinaya ang huling text nya sken..."Try to learn their lang.Ndi ko c ung qatar s map i nid a bger map if ever myb its Gods wil trveling rownd d world 2 mit ur prins chrming dont fil alon der God is always wd u."

indeed my best weekend ever! i thank everybody for taking time to spend the weekend with me khit n short notice lng sya...domo arigato for the gift... =)

i'll be leaving on friday...you can just imagine how scared i am now, first time i went abroad kasama ko kyong lhat, now i'm leaving by myself and will not go back until after a year or two...

i'll definitely gonna miss you sisters...ndito p nga lng ako namimiss ko n kyo, pano p kya pagndun n ko...

ang dami ko pang gustong sbihin pro ndi ko n alam kung san magccmula...basta you all take care of yourselves...domo arigato for everything...i promise to keep in touch...sana when i get back ako nman mki2nig s mga "blah,blah,blah" ninyo.... ;) sisters, please do pray for me...i may look strong pro s totoo lng....nyay...living and working in a place where i don't know anybody...good luck to me! hehehe
